“Scott Sean White is one of the best songwriters to ever come out of the state of Texas, full stop.”
— Radney Foster

Join us at The Nest for an evening of songs and stories with Scott Sean White, a songwriter’s songwriter from the perfectly named town of Poetry, Texas.

Scott’s songs have been recorded by country superstar Cody Johnson, including “God Bless the Boy,” “Made a Home,” and “Over Missing You,” as well as Bryan Martin. His own recordings bring that same heartfelt storytelling to life. His second album, Even Better on the Bad Days, debuted at #1 on the iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart, and his newest release, Days Are Long, includes “She’d Be the Bible,” “Little Bit of Luck,” and “Piano for Sale.”

Playing more than 120 shows a year across the country, Scott brings honesty, humor, and a lifetime of experience to every performance. His songs and the stories between them explore faith, struggles, and the moments that shape us. Expect some belly laughs, probably a few tears, and an evening that stays with you.

As Jack Ingram puts it: “Some songwriters spend precious time struggling to find their truth and make it rhyme. Others just pick up their guitar and tell it. Scott Sean White is one of the others.”
